For those interested, I've been "doing" web stuff for a handful of years, on and off. I've designed 3 sites: the General Chemistry site (major revisions since my first stab at it), the College Level One team site (we're part of the National Institute for Science Education, NISE, program), and the Chemistry Learning Center site.

On the technical side of things, I used a Macintosh for all my work on this website (a PowerMac 7600 at home and a PowerMac 7200 at work now since upgraded to a G4). On the softer side of things, I used Photoshop 5.5 and Fireworks 3.0 for the graphics, MSWord 6.0 to create all the web pages/html code, and a digital camera for the people and building pictures.
