Description: Catalase activity is measured by timing the rise of an enzyme soaked piece of filter paper to the top of beakers containing different concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. The data can be plotted as either a Michaelis-Menten plot of reaction velocity vs. substrate concentration or as a Lineweaver-Burk double reciprocal plot.
