Supression of Ionization of Ammonium Hydroxide

Description: A magnesium chloride solution is split between two beakers, and solid ammonium chloride added to one. Subsequent addition of aqueous ammonia to the beakers produces a ppt of magnesium hydroxide in only one beaker.
