Step 4: Complete the ICE table.

You now have enough information to complete the ICE table. Click on the step numbers below to see how.

The C entries for the reactants and products are related to the one with the unknown by stoichiometric factors. For example, the C entry for NO (g) is twice as large as the C entry for N2 (g) since two moles of NO (g) are produced for every one mole of N2 that is consumed. It has a positive sign since its amount is increasing.
The E entries are found by adding together the I and C entries for each column.
