Bruker's floating server software currently supports Windows and Linux only. We will update Mac users as soon as Bruker supports OSX (it is available through student licenses).

You must be connected to the Chemistry network or using WiscVPN any time you attempt to run TopSpin.

Installation instructions:

1. Email NMR staff with your name, thesis advisor, and address. We will reply back with the license file.
2. Pick up a TopSpin installation DVD from NMR staff.
-- Install using the defaults for a data processing station.
-- Copy the emailed license file, license.dat, into the location c:\flexlm\Bruker\licenses.
3. Make sure you are on the Chemistry network or logged into the WiscVPN when starting up TopSpin.
