Lighting the Burner

Video. Setting up and lighting the gas burner

When lighting a gas burner, follow these steps:

  1. Connect tubing to the gas inlet nozzle on the burner.

  2. Connect the tubing to a gas source.

  3. Open the gas source at the wall or bench.

  4. Bring a lit match or striker near the burner tube from the side. Occasionally the gas will blow a match out. If the match is extinguished, close the gas source while a new match is struck.
