Video. Misadjusting a burner
Care must be taken when adjusting the air control vent. It is possible to screw the burner all the way off the base, creating a hazardous situation.
Video. Do not heat cracked glassware.
Always check a test-tube or other glass vessel for cracks before heating it. Cracked glassware will leak and/or break if heated.
