About Subject 1

The Bravais lattices represent the 14 unique ways that points can be arranged in three-dimensional space. A crystal structure is built up by repeating unit cells that can be classified into one of the 14 Bravais lattice types. Each point in the lattices can refer to a single atom, molecule, or structural motif.
