About Subject 1

Solid-state structures are made up of atoms, which are often arranged into polyhedra. These polyhedra pack together to form structures. Subject 1 is designed to give you an introduction into the basic types of polyhedra, which will serve as building blocks for subsequent modules in Chapter 1.
